Charlee Bowe MPH, CPH, CIC

Charlee started her career in Infection Prevention in 2020 as a COVID/HAI Epidemiologist with the Florida state HAI Prevention Program. From there she worked up to be a Regional HAI Epidemiologist and then a Regional Infection Prevention Education specialist. She has since joined HCA West Florida Division as the Director of Infection Prevention at Northside Hospital. She has been an APIC member since 2020 and has been with BAPIC since 2023. In her free time she is enjoys reading, video games, and spending time outdoors.

Suzanne Chandler MSN, RN, NI-BC, CIC

Suzanne has been an RN for 44 years with 38 of those years spent in Infection Prevention. Education background includes a Master’s in Nursing with certification in both Infection Control and Nursing Informatics. Her career with BayCare Health System began in 2012 and in 2015 she moved to the system director role.


Treasurer

Xuan Tran CLS, CIC

Xuan Tran is currently an Infection Preventionist with BayCare Health System and a member of APIC & FPIC. She graduated with a CLS Microbiology degree and she is CIC certified. She is eager to contribute effectively to BAPIC’s financial success as the treasurer. During her spare time, she enjoys shopping, crafting, and spending time with family.  


Secretary

Sashia Torres, MPH

Sashia graduated from the University of Louisville in 2019 with her Master’s in Public Health. During her time there I was chosen as a research assistant for a published cohort study where she began her epidemiology experience.  She relocated to Florida in October 2019 and continued her public health career at the Florida Department of Health in Pasco County where she was an Environmental Health Specialist and Epidemiologist.  She started her Infection Prevention career in 2022, recently joined the IP team at Tampa General Hospital.  Her personal time is spent in the gym and being a mother to three teenagers, two dogs and a cat.  She takes an active interest in fitness and health, herbalism, astrology, and genetics.


Legislative

Adicia Bathon BSN, RN-BC, CIC

Adicia is an Infection Preventionist with nine years of experience in acute care hospitals in both Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. She is a Registered Nurse of more than 20 years with her Certification in Infection Control and Board Certification in Nursing Informatics. She is an active member in APIC, FPIC, and BAPIC and serves on the BAPIC Education and Conference Committees. She lives in Tampa with her husband and their dog Grace and they enjoy vacationing with their adult children, running on Bayshore, and trying all the new restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.

Isis Lamphier MPH, MHA, CIC

Isis Lamphier is the Manager of Infection Prevention and Control at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. With several years of experience in the field, she has been recognized with prestigious awards such as Outstanding IP of the Year and APIC Champion. Beyond her leadership role, Isis actively contributes to the healthcare community as an author, contributing editor, and editorial advisory board member for publications like Infection Control Today, Joint Commission Resources, and APIC Text. She is also deeply involved in professional organizations, holding leadership positions in APIC, BAPIC, FPIC, and C3IC.
